RISE Dance Pathways

Find the right path for your dancer

Every Dance Journey Starts with a Strong Foundation

At RISE, dancers begin by exploring a variety of dance styles through our early childhood and combo classes. These foundational years are intentionally designed to help students build coordination, confidence, musicality, technique, and classroom skills while discovering the styles of dance they enjoy most.

Rather than specializing too early, dancers are exposed to multiple disciplines that support long-term growth and versatility.

Around age 8, students begin exploring more focused training pathways based on their interests, strengths, and goals.

Creative Movement (ages 3)

Introduces young dancers to movement, rhythm, coordination, and classroom structure through creative dance exploration.

Pre-Ballet + Tap & Jazz (Ages 4)

Builds early dance technique, coordination, musicality, and classroom confidence while introducing dancers to foundational dance styles.

Combo 1 Ballet & Tap (ages 5-6)

Builds coordination, rhythm, musicality, and classroom confidence through an engaging introduction to foundational dance styles.

Combo 2 Ballet & Jazz (ages 6-7)

Develops technique, flexibility, and performance skills while introducing dancers to jazz movement and artistic expression.

Combo 3 Ballet & Jazz (ages 7-8)

Strengthens ballet foundations while preparing dancers for more focused training pathways beginning at age 8+.

Dancers Are Encouraged to Explore

Many RISE dancers participate in multiple styles and pathways throughout their training. A ballet student may also take lyrical or musical theatre dance, while a hip hop student may participate in jazz or drill team preparation classes.

Dancers enrolled in multiple weekly hours receive discounted tuition rates through our progressive tuition discount structure. Many students choose to supplement their primary pathway with additional styles to build versatility and accelerate growth.

Our goal is to help students become confident, versatile performers while discovering the styles they love most.
