Our goal at RISE is to help students reach new heights while having a whole lot of fun along the way. Overview
- Full-time and Part-time positions available
- Salary or hourly wages to be commensurate with experience
- Full-time includes additional $4,800/year towards health insurance or wages
- Fun, creative work environment
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and researching ideal training programs, track progress and consistency
- Teach group classes of varying ages
- Communicate with parents regularly on student progress
- Assist Ninja Director in preparing for events & skill evaluations
- Hands on teaching, demonstrate, spot and closely monitor all aspects of practice
- Work together with instructors from other disciplines (music, dance, gymnastics) to offer collaborative opportunities for students
Qualifications
- Meaningful experience with teaching youth – we will have classes from toddlers through adult
- Current or recent training in Ninja or related discipline, gymnastics, rock climbing, Parkour is preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage a group of students using positive strategies
- Desire to continue learning and work together with other staff
- Knowledge of commonly used obstacles in Ninja competitions, warped wall, balance events, lache, ring swing etc.
