The Nutcracker Ballet at RISE Dance
A magical holiday performance opportunity for dedicated ballet students.
RISE Dance is excited to present The Nutcracker as a special performance opportunity for our ballet students ages 7 years old and up.
This production gives dancers the chance to grow in technique, artistry, stage presence, and performance confidence while participating in one of ballet’s most beloved holiday traditions.
All roles will be assigned through auditions, and each dancer’s rehearsal schedule will depend on the role or roles they are cast in.

Students interested in participating in our Fall 2026 Nutcracker Ballet must register for one of the audition options below.

Rehearsals & Performances
Specific rehearsal days and times will vary depending on role(s), age group, and scene involvement.
Please Note: Not all dancers will be called for every rehearsal date.
Most Fall 2026 Nutcracker will take place on Saturdays on the following dates:
- August 29
- September 5
- September 12
- September 19
- September 26
- October 3
- October 10
- October 17
- October 24
- October 31
- November 7
In addition, the following full cast rehearsals and performances are currently scheduled:
- Friday, November 13: Full Show Run-Through
- Friday, November 20: Full Show Run-Through
- Saturday, November 28: Dress Rehearsal
- Friday, December 4: Dress Rehearsal
- Saturday, December 5: Performances
Additional rehearsal details, including rehearsal times and dancer call schedules, will be communicated after casting has been finalized.
Summer Ballet Intensives
Students interested in auditioning are strongly encouraged to attend one of our summer ballet intensives. These intensives are a great way for dancers to strengthen their technique, build confidence, and prepare for the expectations of Nutcracker rehearsals.

Nutcracker Participation Requirements & Tuition
Dancers must be at least 7 years old to participate in The Nutcracker.
Participation tuition will vary depending on each dancer’s role assignment and overall rehearsal/performance commitment. Final tuition will be determined after casting, based on factors such as rehearsal involvement, number of performance pieces, and overall production responsibility.
Estimated participation tuition:
- Standard Participation – $335
- Single-role or lighter rehearsal commitment
- Expanded Participation – $405
- Additional rehearsal involvement and/or multiple performance pieces
- Featured/Extended Participation – $450
- Featured roles, extended rehearsal commitment, and/or more complex production involvement
Tuition includes participation in the production process, rehearsals, performances, costumes, props, and production elements needed for the show.
Final role assignments, rehearsal groups, and tuition levels will be communicated after casting has been completed.
