Covid-19
Staying Safe While Having Fun
As part of our mission and vision, we are committed to the health and well-being of every family who is a part of #teamRISE and all of the families in our greater Houston community. Therefore, we have enacted certain COVID-19 operating procedures that will allow us to provide a safe, healthy environment while still having fun in camps and classes.
Below is our current COVID-19 protocols. Some of these procedures give charge to our families to take part so that we can work together as a team to keep everyone safe during this time:
- We require all staff to wear masks when inside the Facility.
- Child participants and visitors are free to wear masks but are NOT required to do so.
- To keep proper social distancing standards, parents and guardians must leave the lobby areas when children are using the space for snack and lunch times.
- For Gymnastics & Ninja, there will be limited hands-on spotting for an indeterminate period of time until further notice.
- Staff, guardians, and children will observe and maintain the social distancing standard of 6’ when feasible while in the Facility.
- Practice start and end times will be staggered to ensure time for the members to get in and out of the building safely, to provide time to wipe down the equipment between each practice, and for teachers to thoroughly wash their hands.
- We will incorporate regular hand sanitizing and hand washing for children participants.
- Children participants are encouraged to use the restroom and wash their hands at home before coming on campus.
- We ask that anyone who has exhibited covid-related symptoms within the last 48 hours stay home until symptom-free for 48 hours.
- We ask that parents and guardians keep children home for at least 48 hours and symptom-free if they or anyone in the family have been in direct contact with someone who had Covid-19 at the time of interaction.
Note well: these procedures will change and evolve over time, so we will continue to follow any new standards required by the State of Texas, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization, and/or RISE.
